“The First Supper”
Mark 14:22-26
Central Idea: Jesus’ journey to the cross included starting what is
commonly known as “The Lord’s Supper.”
Context of Mark 14
•Last hours in Jesus life leading to the cross.
•Verses 22-26: It is after sunset on Thursday evening - which in
the Jewish way of counting time was already Friday.
